Add Comment We set out to run trot lines and get some fathers day crabs to feast on however the crabs were not cooperating. We turned our attention to bow fishing some cow nose rays. That was the ticket for the day. Anytime we can combine video and camera equipment and a bow were in business! These rays are bad news on the bay and in the numbers they are in they cause havoc eating crabs and destroying grass beds thats vital to the Chesapeake eco system. With no natural predators in the Bay its nice to see more and more bow fisher man taking up the shooting Phil Walker , Ian Mattison (owner of Big Buck Scents) and Jason Kephart was the crew  
 
 Finally Jason's , All these were our first attempts at shooting rays and we tripled up!  Pocono Raceway Video by Chesapeake Pursuits Larry took Jason and his family to the Pocono raceway for an inside look at the ARCA racing series. Larry's #04 Dodge is owned by Roger Carter of C2M motor sports. This was Larry's first visit ever to the track and it was ALL a learning experience. On Thursday evening Larry made an appearance at a local Go Kart track as RAD's spokes person, Chnl 13 news was on hand and did an interview. Larry was to sign autographs and race with the kids promoting a drug free lifestyle. Larry will do this at most every track they visit.   Larry qualified the 04 Dodge in the 24th position for Saturdays race.. Chesapeake Pursuits was grateful to have a decal placed on the car and in a prime spot for the nationally televised race on SPEED. Future sponsors take note of opportunities here.. :)  We did a little Carbon Express promo while we had some down time.  Race Day.. Larry sat beside 7 time ARCA champ Frank Kimmel for the pre race autograph session.   Awesome Awesome race day! Larry Barford Jr brought the 04 Dodge home in 17th in one piece and not a scratch on it. A whopping 6 secs faster on his last lap than practice! Congrats to the team, it was a pleasure spending the weekend, meeting and watching the inner workings. You have a special team top to bottom and nothing but great things to come in the future.
